The Property Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the REMS property management team, ensuring smooth day-to-day functions of property operations. This role involves handling tenant and vendor communications, maintaining property, lease, and vendor files, assisting with financial tasks such as invoice processing and receivables, and supporting the preparation of management reports. Responsibilities also include coordinating service contracts, tracking insurance compliance, managing work order systems, and maintaining strong professional relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and real estate software. A high school diploma is required, with some property management or real estate administrative experience preferred.
